Most auto transport companies will require that you do some preparation in advance before shipping. Here are a few quick car transport tips!

• Most companies will not allow personal belongings in the vehicle during shipping. This is due to weight and insurance restrictions.
• You should inspect your car with the vehicle transport company at both drop off and pick up. This covers all parties in the unlikely event that any damage is done.
• Check with your personal insurance company to verify what is and is not covered, and find out whether they will act as primary or secondary insurance while your auto is being transported.
• Lastly, be sure to mention to your auto shipper if your vehicle is inoperable, or if there are any other additions to your auto, such as camper shells or lifts. Being specific helps ensure that you get a fair and proper quote.
